Hey all,
Well I know it has been a very long time since I have posted. But, every time I think about posting, the things I have to write about are projects. So I have finally buckled down and started writing about my projects. I am working on a DIY blog, with hopes to keep THIS blog more of a personal family blog and the new one for my projects.
So please check it out, and become a follower. Thanks!

Sitting Area
This room had me baffled. Even before we made an offer, I was brainstorming ideas of what we could do with this room.
It is suppose to be a "Formal Living Room", but alas we have one set of furniture, and I was not about to stick it in the front entry. I always wanted to have a pseudo library and I have been looking for an excuse to make a wall full of crates. This was my chance! We were still living in Utah and getting ready for the move to Florida, but I was to eager to wait! I started buying slats of wood and cutting them to dimension and bundling them in "sets". So I would have a lot of the work done before we even got there...
(Stay tuned)
Same thing with the few furniture pieces that are now in the entry. I started looking on Utah craigslist for two chairs.
I got lucky and found these two little guys. They were perfect for what I needed and with a little love and care they would be just what I needed. They fit perfectly with a round table that I have had for a little while, and has been apart of several different rooms. I repainted the round table to a slate blue, which was originally black.
Just before the move I was in Idaho visiting Collette. We decided to get away and go check out some thrift stores. It was then that I came across the missing piece! I by chance found and old vintage typewriter, in working condition! Collette twisted my arm and for $15.00, this 20lb piece of loveliness was moving cross-country with us!

Laundry Room Makeover
I am so bad about posting, I get started on a project and I don't stop till it is finished. Then I immediately start another. Never giving myself a time to write a post.
Since our move (yes we moved to Florida), I have been busy as ever. I have so many ideas swimming around in my head for our new home. Just s last week I lost my phone and so many pictures that I had taken for me "before/after" photos.
So I chose to work on the laundry room this week, I had not even started it, so I could take a before picture. I love before/after photos.

This is way over due, but I feel this is something that would be considered a " better late than never topic".
I am a proud Aunt of a beautiful niece. Lydia Grace, joined our family on Feb. 10th. I was lucky enough to be able to be only are few minutes away from all the excitement.
Megan and Rob were actually giving Andrew and I a little time without the children. We had just finished dinner and were considering going to a movie. I sent a quick text to see if they would be ok if we were gone for a little longer, of course they were more than fine to give us more time. Within 2 minutes we got a call, "change of plans". Little Lydia was going to be born, and soon! We rushed home, and they rushed to the hospital. Little Lydia Grace, was born later that night. I love that they were so close, I was able to go down and see Lydia when she was just a few hours old. ( I actually was pulled over at 1 a.m. for speeding I was so excited to be there. Luckily I was only given a warning.)
Over the last weeks it has been so fun to see and hear all about our new Lydie Bug. I love hearing all about how she is changing and growing, and LOVE the happiness she brings to Megan and Rob. No one is more deserving than them. They are such great parents already. I love my Little Miss Lydia.

The last few weeks.
The last month has been a busy busy whirlwind of activities! It all started with a very cute little Lincoln making his appearance! Then 4 days after little Linc was born, I started feeling funny. Actually it was localized to my tongue... I thought the painkillers were possibly to blame. I immediately discontinued use of them. Later that evening I was laughing, and Andrew gave me a funny look "what's wrong with your mouth?". I had no idea, I all the sudden had no control over the left side of my mouth... by the next morning I couldn't control my entire left side of my face. So the following week was spent going to Dr.appointments. We were told it was something called "Bells Palsy". Basically it can be caused by a few things, in my case it was brought on by stress and physical trauma (labor). I could have this condition from anywhere from a few weeks, to a couple years. Fun.
In the weeks to follow, my Mom was able to come into town, followed by my entire side of the family. We were able to attend my older brother Danes wedding, and the reception that was held in Colorado. Just a few days after getting back into town, Andrews family arrived in town. We are getting ready to send off his youngest brother Scott on his mission.
I feel like I have not sat down in a few weeks, but it sure has been fun seeing everyone, and getting to know are newest member of the family.

This pregnancy has seemed totally different than my pregnancy with Wyatt. There is a different kind of anticipation. With my Wyatt my main thought was "were going to have a baby." There was no thought to anything past that. There wasn't any thought as to how his personality would be, or the different cute things he would say. I only thought of holding a cute baby, and dressing him up in many, many, different outfits.
This time things are very different. I think about how excited I am to see how little Lincoln will look, how his temperament will be, and how he will respond to life. I am excited to get to know and watch another little person grow and develop. Granted I miss the baby stage were they just cuddle, but more than anything I am looking forward to have another little person in my life that I will love unconditionally.
The one thing that has not changed is that I am SO READY to have this baby!
Had a Dr's appointment today. He said things are moving along nicely and he expects me to go into labor naturally (before my inducement date on Aug 16th). We are getting anxious!
